The SCA Double Bug plus Frozen Open tournament is coming up next Saturday, January 21st. Also included is a USCF rated section, grades K-12. Frozen open includes K-3, 4-6 and 7-9 sections. Site is Zachary Lane Elementary in Plymouth. Register today at www.schoolchess.org.
THE NEXT School Chess Association tournament is the Burnsville Open Grade Level Tournament at METCALF JR HIGH IN BURNSVILLE, NOVEMBER 5TH.
Players compete within their own grade level in grades K-8. In addition there is one 9–12th grade section. Team awards for Grade Levels based upon top three players in each grade section from each school. You can register onsite Saturday morning, or register online now at www.schoolchess.org.

A fun way for students of all ages to learn and improve their chess level! Organized by the Chess Club of Minnesota. Chess tournament is the next arena where young chess players can test their skill. Chess tournaments are not only competitions, but social events as well. Children will meet peers with a similar love for the game.
