Once-Per-Week Summer Round-Robin Tournament/Event
June 15 – August 17 (8 weeks*)
Mondays 1:00 – 2:30 pm
Open to chess players 1st - 12th grade

Eden Prairie Senior Center

Cost:
$52 for 8 week session
$32 for 4 week session

Registration deadline: June 5, 2009
Chess sets will be provided, but bring a chess clock if you have one.

Advanced Group
G40 time control

Novice/Intermediate Group
G20 time control

Half point byes are available for players providing 2-day or better advanced notice.

Trophies for top players, medals for all others.
No instruction is included. Although the program is open to all kids 1st through 12th
grade, it is not intended for beginners. Players in the novice/intermediate group are expected to know the rules of chess, know how to checkmate, etc., and to participate as if they were playing in a regulation chess tournament.
