Effective Monday, April 20, 2009, the Chess Club of Minnesota will say farewell to Minnetonka Borders Book Store and begin Monday night chess at the Food Court in Byerly's Ridgdale store. The usual suspects will convene Monday evenings from 7-10PM - pretty much all year round. The new location has very nice tables, Caribou Coffee, a Big Bowl Express and of course a wonderful grocery store :)
Byerly's is just across Plymouth Road from Borders Books.
Free chess is offered every Tuesday at the Barnes and Noble store at the Eden Prairie Mall. Bring your chess set and pieces. Chess is offered between 6:30 and 8:00. Sponsored by Barnes and Noble, the Chess Club of Minnesota, and EPCGT.
